The summer is here, and new movies are starting to brew. If you're ready to join our background casting pool in Central Illinois, we're hosting a photo open call! Forge Film Acting is hosting our open call, where folks will come into the space, we'll take their photo, fill out a casting form for them, and send them on their way.
We promise - this is not an audition, and you don't have to learn any lines! Actors are welcome to bring a headshot and resumé, but we are not requiring them.

who we're looking for
Anyone who wants to be considered for background and speaking roles should join our talent pool! If you've already joined, you don't need to come again unless you've changed a lot. If you've always wanted to be a part of film, this is a great way to start.
We never know what kind of looks or which stories we'll be telling, so we're always looking for new faces. Whether you're young or old, tall or short, curvy or boxy, we want to know who wants to be considered. Our job is to professionally know a guy, so we're opening our doors to get to know you.

faq
If I've already signed up, do I need to come again?
Not unless we need to update your photo! It's great to see kids once a year (braces, height, and hair length change so much!), but if you're already in our pool, you don't need to sign up again or come to the open call.
What happens if I join the talent pool?
You'll start getting our emails with casting calls. If you see roles that are right for you, follow the submission instructions for each project. If you're not right for any roles, it's great to know what's shooting in the area.
don't you have an entire faq section?
We sure do! You can check it out here.
